ATON said on the 25th that it has launched the Cloud-Native security solution "Orbit Security" and is making a full-fledged entry into the cloud security market.
Orbit Security integrates and manages Kubernetes (cloud application automatic management system) configuration vulnerabilities, container image vulnerabilities, and runtime threats on a single platform. The company said it simplifies complex security postures into scores so that users can intuitively identify and take action even without specialized security expertise.
A company official said, "Sixty percent of cloud security problems arise from misconfigurations, and Orbit Security automatically inspects them and suggests improvements." The solution also addresses the "alert fatigue" problem by automatically classifying tens of thousands of daily security alerts with AI-based intelligent prioritization into urgent (action within 24 hours), caution (one week), and monitor (one month).
Starting with Orbit Security, ATON will move to expand its institutional sector of cloud security. Its strategy is to leap forward as a comprehensive security company that provides end-to-end services from cloud security to AI monitoring and integrated security operations by expanding its portfolio with an AI-based security control platform and integrated security services tailored for small and midsize businesses.
Jeong Hyeon-seok, head of ATON Security Center, said, "With a surge in large-scale security incidents targeting major corporations at home and abroad, many corporations are struggling with a shortage of security personnel and a complex threat environment," adding, "With this launch of Orbit Security, we will continue to introduce services that efficiently resolve the security issues corporations face."
