SK Telecom said on the 25th that it will run a "bundle and roam" discount promotion for the year-end holiday season, offering discounts when customers apply for roaming with acquaintances.
In this promotion, which runs from the 25th of this month through Dec. 31, customers can form a group of up to three people and subscribe to a baro plan to receive a 10,000 won discount each. The promotion targets customers who begin using a baro plan overseas through Feb. 28, 2026, so customers planning trips for next year's Lunar New Year holiday can also use it.
The promotion applies to four baro plans and four baro YT plans available to customers age 34 or under. The four baro plans are 3GB (29,000 won), 6GB (39,000 won), 12GB (59,000 won), and 24GB (79,000 won). The four baro YT plans are 4GB (29,000 won), 7GB (39,000 won), 13GB (59,000 won), and 25GB (79,000 won).
In particular, customers on the 0 Youth plan, who receive a standing 50% discount, can use roaming for as low as 4,500 won (4GB) if they also get the 10,000 won discount through this promotion. 0 Youth customers also receive an additional 1GB of data on top of the existing baro plan, in addition to the standing 50% discount.
To participate, share the group code generated on the T Roaming event page with a friend; when the friend joins the T Roaming group, an automatic 10,000 won discount is applied to everyone in the friend group.
Baro plan customers can also use T In-flight Wi-Fi at a discount through December. Depending on the subscribed plan, benefits range from a 20% discount on T In-flight Wi-Fi to up to two free passes.
