NEOWIZ said on the 21st that "Lies of P: Overture" won in the "Best Game Expansion" category at the Golden Joystick Awards 2025.
The Golden Joystick Awards is an international game awards ceremony organized by GamesRadar+ that has been held annually since 1983, selecting winners through votes from users around the world.
This award recognizes that "Lies of P: Overture" raised its completeness by combining a prequel narrative with a PC and console action game. Because the award is based on user voting, it is meaningful in that it once again confirmed support from the global fandom.
"Lies of P: Overture" is a prequel to the main title "Lies of P," set in the past in Krat City and focusing on the story of the Stalker "Lea." Immediately after its simultaneous global release in June, it ranked No. 1 in Korea overall and No. 1 globally among paid titles on Steam's "Top Sellers," and achieved a Metacritic score of 85 and a 100% "Critics Recommend" on OpenCritic. Combined global sales of the main game and DLC have surpassed 3 million units.
A NEOWIZ official said, "This award officially recognizes both the work's artistry and box-office appeal," and added, "We will further enhance the value of the 'Lies of P' IP through development of follow-ups."
Meanwhile, "Lies of P: Overture" won the technical and creative award in the character category and the excellence award at the "2025 Korea Game Awards" held on the 12th at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO).
