SHIFT UP said on the 21st that it will conduct a large-scale open recruitment drive to develop the follow-up to the global hit "Stellar Blade." The hiring will be ongoing with no separate deadline, and recruitment will take place across various development roles.
The openings include: ▲ 3D environment artist ▲ 3D character artist ▲ environment concept artist ▲ monster combat designer ▲ PC combat designer ▲ level designer ▲ system designer ▲ scenario writer ▲ technical artist ▲ engine programmer ▲ client programmer ▲ composer.
SHIFT UP is seeking talent to build a next-generation AAA multiplatform action game through this recruitment.
The follow-up to "Stellar Blade," now in development, is a multiplatform AAA action game that expands on the predecessor's universe, with a goal of launching on multiple platforms including console and PC. It will carry forward the previous title's action style and narrative-based IP to deliver more advanced action gameplay.
"Stellar Blade" is a AAA action-adventure game developed by SHIFT UP that launched in 2024 as a PS5 exclusive, earning a 9.2 user score on Metacritic and ranking among the top in preorders in about 60 countries. The PC version, released in 2025, recorded roughly 200,000 concurrent users.
