LG Uplus on the 21st announced a new feature update for its unified account management solution AlphaKey. The update helps corporations more easily manage employee accounts and permissions and strengthen security across various software-as-a-service (SaaS) and cloud-based work environments.
AlphaKey is an Identity as a Service (IDaaS) offering that automatically manages accounts and access rights based on employee identity and HR information, with security reinforced by applying post-quantum cryptography and homomorphic encryption. This allows automatic granting and revocation of permissions according to onboarding and offboarding information, improving management efficiency. In addition, AlphaKey provides core features under a single pricing plan, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), account lifecycle management, and audit reports, enabling corporations to secure both operational efficiency and security.
In particular, the newly added Workflow Studio, mobile device management (MDM) integration, and API integration are key features for shifting corporate IT operations to an automated, secure, and unified management approach. Workflow Studio automates repetitive tasks by setting rules without writing code and improves the efficiency of corporate account operations. Through the API integration feature, various business systems can directly invoke AlphaKey's account management functions, and the MDM integration feature strengthens security by allowing only approved devices to log in.
