Nexon subsidiary Neople's labor and management finalized a tentative agreement reached in the 2025 wage and collective bargaining talks through a union member vote. The negotiations resumed after the dissolution of the Neople union chapter and the suspension of industrial action and have now concluded.
Nexon said on the 21st that "Neople's labor and management reached a tentative agreement on the 18th, and the agreement was approved in a union member vote held on the 19th–20th." Except for an increase in Jeju housing support, the agreement is at the same level as the labor-management agreement reached at Nexon Korea in March.
The agreement includes 4 million won in funds for wage increases, an increase in welfare points by 1.1 million points from 2.5 million points to 3.6 million points, and higher housing support in the Jeju region. Housing support was adjusted to 10.7 million won per year for rent and 224 million won for jeonse for unmarried employees, and 15 million won per year for rent and 320 million won for jeonse for married employees. Total union time-off was set at 6,000 hours (two full-time and two part-time).
Earlier, on Oct., a motion to dissolve the Neople chapter passed at the Nexon branch delegates' meeting, and the Neople union temporarily suspended industrial action. The Neople union had continued negotiations with management over the demand for "profit share (a performance bonus equal to 4% of operating profit)," but, unable to find common ground, had entered industrial action including refusal of overtime and a strike starting in Apr.
Neople said it will operate a fair and sustainable compensation system based on trust with its members.
