PlayStation Store (PS Store) said on the 21st that it will officially support Naver Pay (Npay) easy payment.
Naver Pay is Korea's leading easy payment service, and with this addition, domestic PS users can more conveniently purchase games and content, top up their wallet, and set up automatic payments for PlayStation Plus subscriptions.
Existing Naver Pay users can start using it immediately on PC web, mobile app, and PlayStation consoles after the initial login and consent process. In addition to credit and debit cards registered with Naver Pay, points and money can also be used for payment, and payment history can be checked in one place on the Naver app and website.
To mark the service launch and the PlayStation "Black Friday promotion," PlayStation Store is running an event through Dec. 1 that awards up to 20,000 points when paying with Naver Pay. Participation is limited to once per person, and the event may end early if the limited quantity runs out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Currently on PS5, the number of accounts eligible to use Naver Pay is being expanded in phases, and on PS4, the web, and the PlayStation App, all users can use it immediately.
