Kakao Entertainment said on the 20th that it officially opened Berriz's fan store, "Berriz Shop."
"Berriz Shop" is an online fan store where customers can buy official MD, limited-edition MD, and fan club memberships for a wide range of K-culture IP such as content and artists. The store is individually structured to fit each IP through concept designs that reflect the unique brand worldviews of each intellectual property (IP), such as labels, artists, and content.
It is expected to offer a different way to experience the stories and sensibilities of favorite IPs beyond simply purchasing MD products. As Berriz is becoming a playground for K-culture fans worldwide, where users communicate with K-pop artists or AI personas from popular drama series and actively interact with one another, it plans to further expand fandom experiences and enjoyment through Berriz Shop.
With the launch of "Berriz Shop," SM Entertainment's SMTOWN &STORE is opening on Berriz Shop. Some newly introduced products from SM Entertainment artists, such as special MD celebrating artists' birthdays and debuts, will be sold exclusively in the store within Berriz Shop, and it plans to engage with fans in various ways as SM Entertainment's official online store.
A variety of services will also be offered so fans around the world can use Berriz Shop more conveniently. It supports 18 languages, including Korean and English, and has established a structured global payment and shipping system, including stable global delivery based on more than 500 hubs worldwide and multi-currency payments. Customer support will also be available in four languages, including Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese. In addition, it plans to roll out various online and offline promotions and services, including digital-linked services through the Berriz app and popup stores.
