Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association (KOSA) said on the 20th that it held a program in Tokyo, Japan, on the 17th to 19th to support domestic artificial intelligence (AI) and software (SW) corporations in entering the Japanese market.
Thirteen companies, including MakinaRocks, Crowdworks, ScatterX, and WhaTap Labs, took part in the event. These corporations received related support from KOSA and Megazone Cloud, including technology advancement consulting, overseas product testing (PoC), establishment of local subsidiaries, public relations and marketing, and investment from local corporations.
According to KOSA, in particular, Y, a Japanese system integration (SI) corporation, showed interest in the corporations participating in the program.
Seo Seong-il, executive vice chair of KOSA, said, "Through this program, we conducted in-depth meetups with local large-corporation departments, creating an opportunity to substantively confirm demand in the Japanese market," and added, "We will expand the scale of participating corporations and broaden the region to major hubs in Asia beyond Japan to help domestic AI corporations secure competitiveness in the global market."
