Uber Taxi said on the 20th it will run a "Uber Taxi rickshaw" tour in Bukchon, Seoul, from the 21st to the 27th.
The tour is the second program following Gyeongju and is set on a route connecting the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul–Sagandong alley–Yun Po-sun house–K-drama road–Gamgodang-gil–Jongchinbu–Gwanghwamun. A rickshaw puller will explain key spots and help with commemorative photos.
Reservations are available through the reservation link on Uber Taxi Korea's official Instagram, and if you open the Uber app near Gwanghwamun, you are taken directly to the rickshaw call menu. Riders can use it for free on the day by verifying the Uber app download, and operating hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Promotions are also offered. First-time Uber Taxi users can receive up to 10,000 won (5,000 won × 2 rides) by entering the promotion code "UBERBUKCHON." If you upload a verification shot of your rickshaw ride to your social media, a 10,000 won taxi ride coupon is provided on-site.
An Uber Taxi official said, "Through the Bukchon rickshaw operation in Seoul, we aimed to provide convenient mobility for domestic and international tourists," adding, "We will continue to broaden choices in tourism mobility services through various programs."
