Nvidia said on the 19th that it successfully wrapped up "AI Day Seoul," held at the COEX Grand Ballroom in Seoul.
Nvidia AI Day is an event designed for the consolidation of the global industrial ecosystem and the developer community and to highlight each region's direction for AI development. Following Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Tokyo in Japan, and Sydney in Australia, this event was held in Seoul, Korea, and ran from the 17th to the 18th.
Nvidia said, "Korea is a region drawing attention in the global market as AI-based innovation is rapidly spreading across Robotics, manufacturing, and the public institutional sector," and noted, "This dynamism was an important reason why this Nvidia AI Day was selected to be held here."
On the first day, Nvidia hosted a Deep Learning Institute (DLI) hands-on workshop. The four specialized workshops—how to add new knowledge to large language models (LLMs), model parallelism and building large-scale neural networks, Robotics acceleration based on Nvidia Isaac (Isaac), and the basics of accelerated computing using the latest CUDA C++—gave participants a chance to practice the latest technologies firsthand.
Nvidia also held the Inception Start - Up & VC Reception. At the event, five teams that reached the finals of the Inception Start - Up Grand Challenge—AeiROBOT, N.LIGHT, PYLER, RLWRLD, and VESSL AI—presented their AI solutions.
On the 18th, a talk session introduced sovereign AI that reflects Korea's cultural and linguistic particularities. Core topics of next-generation industries, such as agentic and physical AI, were also covered. LG AI Research Institute, Naver Cloud, and Coupang, among others, took part and introduced AI development cases each corporation is pursuing based on Nvidia's technologies. In the in-depth Q&A session held alongside, Nvidia's technical experts exchanged views with Korean developers on a wide range of topics, including AI, HPC, LLMs, Robotics, and Autonomous Driving.
