Google said on the 18th that it has officially launched its AI-based airfare search feature "Flight Deals" in Korea and more than 200 countries worldwide.
With Flight Deals, users can enter natural-language requests such as "Find me only nonstop flights to a city with lots of great restaurants for a week this winter," and Google AI will understand the timing, budget, preferred destinations, travel style, and other search conditions and nuances to select matching destinations. It analyzes real-time data from hundreds of airlines and booking sites, compares various itinerary combinations and price ranges, and recommends the most reasonable discounted airfares.
A Google official said, "Without repeatedly changing dates, airports, and filters to search manually, you can instantly explore the best airfare options with just one sentence."
For example, if you enter "Find me deals for nearby destinations I can reach nonstop on the weekend with a holiday next month," Flight Deals will compare major short-haul routes in real time—based on departures from Incheon, Gimpo, and Gimhae—to destinations such as Fukuoka, Taipei, and Da Nang, and recommend the optimal flights to fit the itinerary and budget.
Google Flight Deals supports more than 60 languages, including Korean.
