Epic Games, Inc. Korea said on the 18th that it signed a long-term Unreal Engine 5 license agreement with Com2uS.
Com2uS provides a variety of games, including Summoners War: Sky Arena, and the MMORPG The Starlight, released in Sep., was also developed with Unreal Engine 5. Through this agreement, Com2uS plans to apply Unreal Engine 5 to its next game development to streamline development across multiple platforms.
The agreement includes the technical support program "Epic Pro Support," enabling Com2uS to receive technical support from Epic Games, Inc. during development using Unreal Engine.
Com2uS is a game corporations founded in 1998 and has operated mobile game services from the early days. It currently provides games across several genres, including Summoners War: Sky Arena, Com2uS Pro Baseball, MLB 9 Innings, and Ace Fishing.
Epic Games, Inc. is a global interactive entertainment corporations headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, U.S., providing a range of services and technologies including Fortnite and Unreal Engine.
Park Seong-cheol, head of Epic Games, Inc. Korea, said, "With this agreement, we can stably support the development environment for Com2uS's next project," and added, "We will help development across various platforms by leveraging the technology offered by Unreal Engine 5."
