KakaoTalk has additionally introduced a "send quietly" feature that sends messages without notification sounds or vibration, and a "favorites chatroom folder" feature.
Kakao said on the 18th that it updated to the latest version introducing these features.
To use this feature, enter a message in the chatroom input field, press and hold the send button, and select "send quietly." You can also set send quietly when sending photos and videos.
A Kakao official said, "Reflecting user demand along with existing features such as quiet exit and quiet chatrooms, we newly introduced a feature that sends messages without notification sounds."
This update also adds a chatroom folder that gathers and shows only chatrooms added to favorites. In settings, you can choose whether the favorites folder appears in the chat tab, and a star is marked on the list of chatrooms added to favorites.
