Naver Webtoon said it will hold a weeklong new product reveal and discount event, "Webtoon Friends Pang Pang Week," at its official goods mall, the "Webtoon Friends brand store," from the 17th to the 23rd.
The event will unveil new goods and paperbacks based on webtoon IP every day, along with discounts of up to 87% and giveaways. Goods such as acrylic keyrings, photo card sets, diaries, and calendars using works including Maru Is a Puppy, Operation Name: Pure Love, Killer Badro, Tears to a Withered Flower, and On the Way to Meet Mother have been prepared.
The core program, the "Daily Launching Project," will sequentially reveal a total of 95 new items by date. Starting with "Calendar Day" on the 17th, it consists of ▲ the 18th "Tears to a Withered Flower" ▲ the 19th MagSafe card wallet ▲ the 20th paperbacks ▲ the 21st "Killer Badro" ▲ the 22nd iconic-scene photos ▲ the 23rd "On the Way to Meet Mother" special.
Preorder items by work will also be revealed by date. On the 17th, acrylic calendars related to Garbage Time and Operation Name: Pure Love; on the 20th, volumes 1–2 of The Law of Trash and volume 2 (standard and special editions) of Temporary Public Official; on the 21st, volumes 5–6 of the Killer Badro paperback; on the 22nd, tin-case photo cards for I Want to Be Fooled and Youth Revelations; and on the 23rd, a Mori doll keyring for On the Way to Meet Mother will be revealed. Preorder items will be shipped sequentially after the event ends, and some will be available in limited quantities.
During the event, the "99 Pang Pang Special Price," set at flat prices of 990 won, 9,900 won, and 19,900 won, will be offered, allowing about 100 items to be purchased at discounted prices. In addition, about 300 items will be available in the themed discount zone, and the three-piece Maru Is a Puppy goods set, first unveiled at the popup store on Oct., will be sold at a 30% discount.
At 11 a.m. every day, a 10% open-run discount coupon (first 500 people) will be offered. Customers who spend 50,000 won or more will receive a coffee coupon, and those who spend 100,000 won or more will receive a coffee coupon and a cookie gift card (10,000 won). The cookie gift card is limited to a first-come, first-served quantity.
Celebratory messages from participating creators will also be released at this event. Messages from creators such as Mojo of Maru Is a Puppy, Jakga of Parenting Diary, and Kim Jeong-hyeon and Lim Rina of Killer Badro can be found on the Naver Webtoon creator home and their personal social media.
