HANMI Semiconductor said on the 17th that it received the "Top Supplier (핵심 공급사)" award from U.S. semiconductor corporations Micron Technology.
Micron holds the Supplier Awards every year and presents awards by institutional sector to top-performing corporations among its global partners that excel in core capabilities such as quality, technological innovation, service and collaboration.
This year's event was held on the 13th (local time) at The Westin hotel in San Francisco, United States.
HANMI Semiconductor is No. 1 in the market for TC bonder equipment essential for producing High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), a key component of artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductors, and Micron is a major client.
The company established HANMI Singapore in October and, following HANMI Taiwan in 2016, is strengthening on-site, close support for Micron's local plants.
