SK Telecom said on the 14th that it will hold a fan appreciation event starting on the 20th to celebrate esports team T1's win at the "2025 League of Legends (LoL) World Championship" (Worlds).
Worlds, known as "롤드컵," is the world's largest esports tournament where teams that have conquered their national LoL leagues compete each year. T1 has won the 롤드컵 for three consecutive years since 2023. It is the team's sixth trophy overall.
SK Telecom said, "Since we have continuously supported T1 since its founding, we are holding the 'SKT x T1 championship commemorative fan appreciation event' to share the joy of this victory with customers," and noted, "We designed it so customers can relate to T1's narrative and championship story and communicate with the players."
First, on the 15th of next month, a fan meeting with the T1 players will be held at the SK Telecom flagship store T Factory Seongsu. Fans can meet the T1 players in person, including player Lee Sang-hyeok, "Faker," and receive autographs, and a "T1 special goods package" will be provided.
The fan meeting will be conducted through an application process. SK Telecom customers can apply through "T Membership," and even non-SK Telecom customers can participate via the app for the unlocked-only digital communication service "air." Various official T1 merchandise will also be provided through a drawing.
