LG CNS said on the 13th that it won the "ESG Award" at the Asia-Oceania Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) Awards 2025 held in Taipei, Taiwan, on the 11th.
ASOCIO is an international private organization established in 1984 by ICT associations from 24 countries in Asia and Oceania to expand cross-border exchanges and cooperation, and it holds an international conference and awards ceremony every year. The ASOCIO Awards select outstanding corporations and institutions across 10 categories through member-country recommendations and screening, including ▲ innovation tech ▲ digital government ▲ cybersecurity ▲ Healthtech/Digital Healthcare ▲ ESG.
LG CNS was highly rated for integrating corporations' ESG data and providing functions needed for management decision-making through its self-developed "LG ESG Intelligence" platform. The platform collects and analyzes key ESG data such as carbon emissions and energy usage and quantifies key outcomes to support tailored decisions, including ESG report preparation and regulatory compliance strategies.
In particular, based on quantified ESG data, it secures reliability and provides functions to transparently assess and manage ESG performance indicators and risks. The platform is currently applied to 11 affiliates within LG Group, including electronics, manufacturing, chemicals, and telecommunications, accumulating empirical data across various industries and advancing, while also expanding its scope to external corporate clients.
