Kakao said on the 12th that it has released the web version of its AI agent app Kanana. The web version can be accessed via the URL (mate.kanana.ai/home), and existing mobile app users can log in with the same account. New users can sign up with a Kakao account.
The web version centers on personal AI mate features, with group chat rooms and other functions to be added in stages later. On the first screen, users can have a variety of conversations with the personal AI mate Nana, and can also select special AI mates from the list on the left. Kakao recently expanded the user experience by adding five types of special AI mates—tarot, saju (Korean fortune-telling), challenges, study coaching, and insurance consultations—through a mobile app update.
The web version also adds a Learn more about Kanana menu that guides users through Kanana's various conversation topics and usage methods, and serves as a space to deliver the latest news and features. Various features provided in the mobile app will be added to the web version sequentially.
