Wemade said on the 11th that on a consolidation basis for the third quarter of 2025, revenue was 163.6 billion won and operating profit was 26.3 billion won. Compared with the same period a year earlier, revenue fell 23.7% and operating profit fell 49.2%.
However, compared with the previous quarter, revenue increased by about 40%. License revenue from "The Legend of Mir 2/3" in China drove the results. With continued efforts to improve expense efficiency added, both operating profit and net profit swung to a surplus from the previous quarter. Operating expenses decreased by about 6% from the previous quarter.
Legend of YMIR, released on Oct. 28 in 170 countries worldwide, has been sailing smoothly, consistently maintaining about 160,000 concurrent users. The company said that once the core content update scheduled for the end of the year gets underway, user inflow is expected to expand further.
Wemade plans to sequentially unveil at least six new titles in the global market through next year, including Mir M, which is set for release in China at the end of this year. It also plans to enhance marketing efficiency and introduce new business models based on the global Blockchain game platform WEMIX PLAY to strengthen profitability.
Wemade's subsidiary Wemade Max posted third-quarter 2025 revenue of 38.2 billion won and an operating loss of 11.7 billion won. Wemade Connect will unveil the new title "NOAH (N.O.A.H)" for the first time at G-Star 2025, which opens on the 13th. Midnight Walkers, a new title under development by One Way Ticket Studio, will be released as Early Access on the global game platform Steam on Jan. 29 next year.
