NAVER said on the 10th it will introduce a "reservations" tab in the Naver Map app that gathers places, activities, and transportation options available for Naver Reservation at a glance for convenient booking.
The update will roll out in stages starting on this day. Reflecting the direction of consolidating all online and offline experiences, the BI (Brand Identity) also received a new look.
Naver will reorganize the map app tabs to match the user journey from place discovery to movement into ▲ discovery ▲ reservations ▲ public transit ▲ navigation ▲ saved.
In the newly introduced reservations tab, users can view at a glance places and activities that support Naver Reservation and book them conveniently.
Through Naver Map, users can make all everyday reservations at once, not only for restaurants and cafes but also for leisure, tickets, experiences, classes, travel, and flights.
After a reservation, users receive tailored guidance—from alerts for the reservation schedule to recommendations for places worth visiting near the reserved location—enhancing the completeness of the reservation experience.
A "reservation search" feature will also be added. As before, even without setting a place filter when searching for places, users can more easily explore desired locations through reservation search.
For foreigners, the reservations tab will support multiple languages (English, Chinese, Japanese) and provide content tailored to foreign users. It will introduce restaurants that can be booked today and travel products that allow visits to Korean landmarks and popular tourist attractions.
