Samsung Electronics Service said on the 9th that it is conducting pre-checks of Samsung Electronics system air conditioners in use at College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) sites nationwide ahead of the 2026 academic year exam.
The checks are meant to confirm heating and cooling performance and equipment condition in advance so test-takers can take the exam in a comfortable environment. Covering about 260 test sites under 10 metropolitan and provincial education offices nationwide, including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon and Busan, the effort will run through Nov. 12, the day before the CSAT.
Samsung Electronics Service engineers are visiting each test site to carefully inspect the overall operation of the system air conditioners, including ▲ test runs for cooling and heating ▲ checks of indoor and outdoor noise. They also use the "S-NET system air conditioner real-time monitoring program" to diagnose the operating status of major components in real time and detect signs of abnormality in advance.
The inspections are provided free of charge, and when additional repairs such as parts replacement are needed, discounted on-site service fees are offered.
On Nov. 13, the day of the CSAT, Samsung Electronics Service also plans to operate an "emergency inspection service" by establishing an emergency contact system with education offices and test sites nationwide. The "CSAT emergency service team" will be stationed near test sites to provide swift measures such as ▲ emergency dispatch support ▲ temporary usage guidance.
A Samsung Electronics Service official said, "We have prepared thorough pre-checks and an emergency response system so test-takers can take the exam in the best possible environment."
