Samsung Electronics will release the budget-friendly smartphone Galaxy A17 LTE in Korea on the 7th, strengthening essential performance and adding artificial intelligence (AI) features.
Galaxy A17 LTE comes with core features including: ▲ a 169.1 mm (6.7-inch) large display ▲ a slimmer, lighter design at 7.5 mm thick ▲ a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera ▲ AI features.
It will launch as models for the three mobile carriers and as an unlocked model, and can be purchased at Samsung Store, Samsung.com, mobile carriers' online and offline stores, and open markets. The price is 319,000 won, and it comes in three colors: black, light blue, and gray.
Equipped with a Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy A17 LTE supports up to a 90 Hz refresh rate to deliver a vivid, immersive content-viewing experience.
On the back, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and a triple-camera setup including ultra-wide and macro let users capture a variety of scenes, such as landscapes and portraits, with clarity.
In particular, the "optical image stabilization (OIS)" feature applied to the rear camera minimizes shake and light streaking when shooting photos in low light.
The Galaxy A17 LTE improves both grip and portability with a thickness of 7.5 mm and a weight of 190 g. The front uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for durability.
It also features a large 5,000 mAh battery to help users enjoy various content for extended periods.
The Galaxy A17 LTE supports AI features such as "Gemini" and "Circle to Search," as well as Samsung Wallet.
Samsung Electronics plans to support up to six OS upgrades and six years of security updates so users can use the Galaxy A17 LTE with confidence for longer.
