Dreamotion, a development studio under KRAFTON, said on the 7th that it officially launched its new title "My Little Puppy" in the global market.
My Little Puppy is a single-player, story-driven adventure game inspired by the well-known tale that "when a person dies, the dog who went first comes to greet them." Players become Bong-gu, a Welsh Corgi staying in dog heaven beyond the Rainbow Bridge, and set out on a journey to meet the owner who has just set foot on the road to the afterlife.
Players must venture through a variety of afterlife regions such as the sea, desert, and snowy mountains, meeting people and dogs with their own stories and helping one another to progress through the adventure.
The global release version supports a total of 15 languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, French, and German. To mark the global release, the game is available on Steam at a 20% discount through the 18th of this month.
Lee Jun-young, head of Dreamotion, said, "The game's protagonist, the Welsh Corgi Bong-gu, was in fact a rescue dog I adopted and raised, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge three years ago," adding, "To people like me who hold affection and memories for their dogs, I wanted to offer warm comfort and emotion through the story that we will eventually meet again."
