Samsung Electronics will hold the Samsung Tech Conference 2025 (STC 2025) online on the 20th.
STC 2025 is an open forum for sharing technology, covering a range from advanced technologies to security technologies. Jeon Kyung-hoon, president and chief technology officer (CTO) of the DX Division at Samsung Electronics and head of Samsung Research, plans to present the direction of future technologies and industries led by AI in a welcome address. In addition, various sessions will share the core technologies and vision for a successful entry into the era of "AI Transformation (AX)."
The keynote will introduce ▲ AI-applied robot control technology (Jung-hyun Kwon, executive director, Samsung Research, Samsung Electronics) ▲ the Tizen operating system combined with intelligence functions (Ho-beom Kwon, executive director, Samsung Research) ▲ agent technology to improve AI work productivity (Sang-ha Kim, executive director, Samsung Research) ▲ AI-powered security innovation technology (Yong-ho Hwang, executive director, Samsung Research). Jim Zemlin, chair of the Linux Foundation, will also present on "latest trends in open-source AI technology."
The technical sessions will share more than 40 of Samsung Electronics' key research outcomes, including ▲ cases of improving work productivity using Generative AI ▲ cases of applying AI technologies to products ▲ AI-based automatic detection and patching of security code vulnerabilities ▲ optimization of communication systems with AI ▲ SmartThings user-customized services ▲ Samsung Health SDK ▲ Samsung Wallet AI application technologies.
Jung Jin-min, vice president and head of the Software Innovation Center at Samsung Research, Samsung Electronics, said, "Through STC 2025, Samsung Electronics will present a vision for the AX era in which AI redefines everything, and plans to discuss a wide range of knowledge so we can grow together with technology experts."
