CarbonSix, a developer of physical artificial intelligence (AI) specialized in manufacturing, said on the 6th that it unveiled the industry's first imitation learning–based standard product, "SigmaKit," at RoboWorld 2025.
RoboWorld is Korea's largest robot exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and co-organized by three institutions including the Korea AI and Robot Industry Association. Marking its 20th anniversary, this year's event runs through the 8th at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi. Three hundred domestic corporations and 50 overseas corporations took part in the event. CarbonSix won the RoboWorld Awards of the Year in the manufacturing category.
CarbonSix showcased SigmaKit, released in September, at the event. The company focused its demonstration on the ability to carry out precision tasks such as ring hooking. The company said, "It is a format that anyone can apply directly to manufacturing processes without AI expertise or separate equipment," and added, "Even processes that were impossible to replace people, such as frequent production model changes and tasks with strong unstructured characteristics, can be easily automated."
Kim Tae-hun, head of sales at CarbonSix, said, "SigmaKit is a robot that can make its own decisions and respond in environments with many variables, replacing actual operators."
