NHN Dooray said on the 6th that it built the collaboration platform "Dooray!" on DB Insurance's internal network and started service for all employees companywide.
The build was completed after three months of work following DB Insurance's approval as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) in July. NHN Dooray is the first case to provide a collaboration tool in the form of SaaS (software as a service) on a domestic non-life insurer's internal network.
With the adoption of Dooray, DB Insurance will run messenger, mail, project management, e-approval, knowledge management, and AI features in an integrated way on a single platform. Chatbots that had been operated separately by department were also integrated on the Dooray basis, allowing administrators to update content simply by editing wiki pages without separate development.
AI features are used to automate repetitive tasks such as document summarization, automatic meeting minutes organization, and report draft writing. It also integrated the mail systems that had been separated into internal and external networks, improving efficiency in internal and external communications and strengthening security.
A DB Insurance official said, "The adoption of Dooray means more than a system replacement; it signifies a change in the way we work," adding, "We expect to evolve into a culture where members design and execute their work on their own."
Baek Chang-yeol, CEO of NHN Dooray, said, "This is significant as a case of a SaaS collaboration platform that can be operated stably even on a financial sector internal network," adding, "We will continue to expand into the financial sector with a focus on AI and a project-based collaboration environment."
