Global cybersecurity corporation Palo Alto Networks said on the 6th it has launched Prisma AIRS 2.0, an integrated platform for end-to-end security across the artificial intelligence (AI) lifecycle.
While 78% of corporations worldwide are pursuing AI-based digital transformation, only 6% have security frameworks that can operate it safely. Prisma AIRS 2.0 provides end-to-end security that covers every phase before and after development, deployment, and operation of AI applications (apps) to fill this gap.
The core of this version is the "autonomous AI red team" feature. Based on more than 500 attack scenarios, it continuously inspects interactions among AI models, agents, and data, and blocks real-time threats. Through this, corporations can visualize AI assets, assess potential risks in advance, and secure a trustworthy AI operating environment.
Prisma AIRS 2.0 consists of three modules: ▲ AI agent security ▲ AI red team ▲ AI model security. AI agent security detects and protects all AI agents within a corporation in real time and identifies even unauthorized "shadow AI." It blocks prompt injection, tool misuse, and malicious behavior to keep autonomous workforce environments safe.
The AI red team replaces manual checks with context-aware automated attack simulations, providing security validation at the level of real hackers. AI model security analyzes the internal structure of AI models to detect and block unique threats such as backdoors, data poisoning, and malicious code insertion.
Starting with AIRS 2.0, Palo Alto Networks plans to expand into next-generation security architectures, including Cortex Agentics for autonomous workforce protection, a security browser for endpoints, and quantum security.
Anand Oswal, a vice president at Palo Alto Networks, said, "Prisma AIRS 2.0 strengthens AI security capabilities by integrating in-depth AI model analysis, real-time blocking of AI agent threats, and continuous red-team vulnerability detection," adding, "Palo Alto Networks is turning security from a barrier to innovation into a driver of growth and setting a new standard for security in AI environments."
