LG Electronics said on the 5th it will launch the interior projector "LG MoodMate" (model PF600U).
Sold exclusively on domestic online brand shops starting on the 6th, LG MoodMate can serve as a ▲beam projector ▲interior light ▲high-quality Bluetooth speaker. LG Electronics also set up a space to experience MoodMate at Ground 220 in Yangpyeong-dong, Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul. The shipping price is 990,000 won.
LG Electronics reflected a design inspired by the widely used interior accessory "floor stand mood light" in LG MoodMate. With a round projector head combined with a long stand, it can be moved freely to enjoy various content on a screen up to 120 inches. The projector head tilts back up to 105 degrees. By projecting photos and more onto a wall, it can also be used for "beemterior" (a portmanteau of beam projector and interior, meaning decorating a space using a beam projector). It can serve as a mood light with nine colors and five brightness levels.
The speakers built into LG MoodMate feature a passive radiator that amplifies bass through air vibration. You can also easily connect MoodMate with a mobile phone and use it like a Bluetooth speaker.
LG Electronics' proprietary smart TV platform webOS is also applied. Even without connecting separate devices such as a laptop or mobile phone to the projector, users can access various content over the internet, including LG Electronics' ad-supported free streaming (FAST) service "LG Channel," over-the-top (OTT) services, and games.
Lee Yun-seok, head of LG Electronics' IT Business Division, said, "LG MoodMate, with its sophisticated design, rich sound, and colorful lighting, will go beyond a simple projector to offer new value to customers as an interior object that refreshes the mood of a space."
