Apple said on the 4th that, with AirPods, its real-time translation feature available in the Phone and FaceTime apps supports ▲Korean ▲Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) ▲Japanese.
The real-time translation feature is supported in the Messages, Phone, and FaceTime apps.
In the Messages app, replies a user is typing are automatically translated and delivered in the other person's language.
In the Phone app, users can listen to the call in translated audio or view it on-screen as a transcript. In FaceTime, users can converse naturally with translated real-time captions alongside the video call.
