Xiaomi will run a domestic promotion for the "Xiaomi 15 Ultra," which Chinese President Xi Jinping gifted to President Lee Jae-myung.
Xiaomi Korea said on the 4th that it will sell the Xiaomi 15 Ultra (single model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage), which has a domestic list price of 1,699,000 won, at a 12% discount for 1,499,000 won through the 11th.
Earlier, on the 2nd, Xi, to commemorate the Korea-China summit with Lee, presented a "Xiaomi 15 Ultra" along with a four treasures of the study set. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is known to use a display from Samsung Electronics.
That day, Lee joked about the Xiaomi smartphone gifted by Xi, asking, "Is the communications security solid?" Xi laughed and replied, "Check once whether there is a backdoor (a method that bypasses authentication for hacking)."
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra was unveiled in March at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, the world's largest mobile exhibition, held in Barcelona, Spain.
It is equipped with a quad-camera system co-developed with Leica: ▲ 50-megapixel 14 mm ultra-wide camera ▲ 50-megapixel 23 mm main (wide) camera ▲ 50-megapixel 70 mm telephoto camera ▲ 200-megapixel 100 mm super-telephoto camera.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is sold at four Xiaomi Stores nationwide, as well as on the Xiaomi Korea official online store, the Xiaomi app, and major online channels including Naver, SSG, and Gmarket.
