ESTsoft said on the 3rd that it successfully showcased a kiosk equipped with a conversational artificial intelligence (AI) human to leaders and businesspeople from around the world at the 2025 APEC venue in Gyeongju.
ESTsoft unveiled the "Perso AI Human Kiosk," which provides real-time guidance through voice conversations at the front of the "K-Tech Showcase" and the "Economic Exhibition Hall" during APEC. It is expected to continue to be used at the Economic Exhibition Hall after APEC.
The Perso AI Human Kiosk supports AI humans combined with an LLM to respond to external voices so it can adapt to various environments where communication is required. In particular, it has been advanced to operate flawlessly not only in the cloud environment but also on-device through the company's own technology.
At this APEC venue, the Perso AI Human Kiosk performed functions such as: ▲ guidance in 32 languages and handling voice Q&A ▲ guidance on exhibition composition, booth locations, programs, and timetables ▲ strengthened information accessibility for people with disabilities and foreigners ▲ provision of an immersive interface based on an AI avatar.
ESTsoft said that, as demand for the Perso AI Human Kiosk has surged recently, it plans to gradually expand its deployment spaces. It also noted plans to further enhance the system in multiple directions, including combining it with a VLM (vision-language model) and various devices, to increase usability in physical environments.
