Naver Webtoon said on the 3rd that it wrapped up a 2 Days & 1 Night program that supports emotional recovery for creators who have finished their series.

Held as part of Naver Webtoon's creator ecosystem support program WEBTOON With, the program brought together 27 creators who completed their series this year from Oct. 29 to 30. More than half of them started and finished new serials on Naver Webtoon.

The program was designed to relieve the psychological fatigue and isolation experienced during serialization and to help creators recharge their creative energy by connecting with peers.

Over 2 Days & 1 Night, participating creators took part in a range of activities for emotional recovery and networking, including the Life Forest Story workshop with a coaching specialist, ▲ an aroma therapy session to help relax emotions, and appreciation of a "cheer book" filled with reader support messages.

Harin, creator of the webtoon Hello, My Collection who joined the camp, said, "While serializing my debut work, when I was emotionally exhausted or had concerns about the series, I was able to rely on my producer and complete the work," and added, "This program, which even considers and supports creators' emotional recovery, seems likely to be a great help in preparing my next project."

Naver Webtoon has made various efforts to build a creator-friendly webtoon ecosystem. In 2014, it became the first in the industry to institutionalize regular health checkups and strengthened creator welfare with congratulatory and condolence leave and support, as well as codifying the right to take breaks from serialization.

This year, it began hosting fan meetings so creators can meet their reader fandoms directly and boost their creative drive. Through various programs such as the New Creator Orientation, which supports the creation and serialization process of creators newly launching on Naver Webtoon, and the Epilogue Party, which celebrates creators who have completed their series, it is expanding support for the creative ecosystem.

Chae Yu-gi, vice president of Korea service at Naver Webtoon, said, "Naver Webtoon believes it is most important to create a creative environment where creators can make good works," adding, "We will continue to actively support not only the success of works but also creators' ability to sustain their creative activities through new systems and programs."
