Melon, the music platform of Kakao Entertainment, on the 3rd unveiled the official slogan and ticket reservation schedule for "The 17th Melon Music Awards, MMA2025" to be held at Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome on Dec. 20.
This year's MMA2025 slogan is "Play the moment," meaning to share all moments and stories connected by music together. Melon has been strengthening services that link music records with user experiences based on more than 150 million streaming data points per day.
MMA2025 will have KakaoBank as the title sponsor, and ticket reservations will be conducted on Melon Ticket. The first-round reservation will be available for members with MVIP, VIP, and GOLD tiers who have subscribed to Melon for more than one year, from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 24, and both floor seats and stair seats can be selected.
The second-round reservation opens at 8 p.m. on Nov. 27 for all members holding a Melon pass. Remaining seats, including cancellations from the first round, are eligible, and for both rounds, each person can reserve up to two tickets. Detailed reservation policies can be checked on Melon Ticket.
Melon plans to release a MMA2025 teaser video on Nov. 7 to build anticipation for the main awards ceremony. It will also open an MMA channel within Melon Music Wave, running both a program to enjoy performing artists' set lists and a real-time live chat.
Launched as an online awards ceremony in 2005, MMA expanded offline starting in 2009 and has established itself as a leading K-pop music awards where fans and artists come together every year.
