Hyundai AutoEver said on the 3rd that it won the highest grade, "best," for the second straight year in the 2024 the Shared Growth Index evaluation.
The Shared Growth Index evaluation is an indicator that quantifies the level of shared growth of corporations to promote win-win cooperation between large and small and midsize companies. The Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership has announced the results of the Shared Growth Index evaluation once a year since 2011.
Grades for the Shared Growth Index evaluation are divided into five: ▲best ▲excellent ▲good ▲average ▲insufficient. The final grade is determined by adding, in equal halves, the comprehensive evaluation of the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership and the evaluation of compliance with fair trade agreements by the Fair Trade Commission. The main evaluation items are ▲transaction relationships ▲cooperative relationships ▲fairness of contracts ▲support for win-win cooperation.
The 2024 evaluation covered a total of 236 corporations. Among them, a total of 40 companies, including Hyundai AutoEver, received the best grade. After first being included in the index in 2014, Hyundai AutoEver received the best grade in 2021 and 2023, and again this time, achieving the highest grade for the first time for two consecutive years since being included in the index.
Hyundai AutoEver is continuing various efforts to support the sustainable growth of its partners. It has participated for five consecutive years since 2021 in the "ESG support program for partners" operated by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, helping small and midsize partners embed ESG (environmental, social and governance) management. It is also running win-win programs such as planning and operating customized win-win cooperation programs for partners, early payment of subcontracting fees and 100% cash payment, and 100% use of the standard subcontracting contract.
