Samsung Display said on the 31st that it achieved the top grade for the eighth consecutive year in the "2024 the Shared Growth Index evaluation" chosen by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership.

The Shared Growth Index evaluation is an indicator that the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership has used annually since 2011 to assess each corporation's level of shared growth to promote win-win cooperation between large corporations and small and midsize enterprises. This year, a total of 230 corporations were evaluated, and 19 corporations, including Samsung Display, that received the top grade for three or more years were named "top-grade honor corporations."

Samsung Display's representative win-win program is the "Craypas" system, which supports research and development costs for partner companies with technological ideas. As a program that supports step-by-step research and development (R&D) so small partner companies can grow through technology development, it has jointly provided 74.5 billion won with the government for a cumulative 102 projects from 2010 to the present.

It also operates financial programs that help partner companies receive loans with a low interest burden. A representative example is a 300 billion won shared-growth fund created to support working capital, facility investment, and research and development. Last year, 108 corporations raised 202.2 billion won through the shared-growth fund. In addition, Samsung Display operates various tailored training programs, such as a safety officer certification system, so partner companies can pursue sustainable management.

Cho Seong-sun, head of the Win-Win Cooperation Center at Samsung Display (executive vice president), said, "We will continue to work to enhance our partner companies' competitiveness, build a sustainable shared-growth management system, and contribute to the balanced development of the industrial ecosystem."
