Netmarble's content marketing subsidiary MNB said on the 31st that its IP "Koongya Restaurants" will take part in the "2025 Daegyeongseon Log-On Road Popup Festa" and run the pop-up store.
The pop-up store was organized to revitalize the area near Gumi Station in connection with the opening of the Daegyeong Line metropolitan railway. It will run from Oct. 31 to Nov. 30, and open daily from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. near Gumi Station.
The venue, built around the "Jelly Shop" concept, features an experience zone, photo zone, and goods zone. Visitors can receive a "Gumi Village citizen card" on-site and enjoy various activities such as taking photos with characters at the photo zone.
At the goods zone, new collaboration limited goods such as PVC clear pouches, jelly keyrings, and memo pads will be unveiled alongside existing products including "Koongya Restaurants" dolls, figures, and miscellaneous items.
"Koongya Restaurants" is a spin-off brand of the "Koongya" IP developed by Netmarble MNB, and since 2022 has been releasing content on Instagram capturing the "daily life of the Kongyas." It currently has more than 160,000 followers and continues to be popular among Millennials and Gen Z.
More details about the pop-up store are available on the official Instagram of "Koongya Restaurants" and the "Daegyeongseon Log-on Road" Instagram.
