LG CNS said on the 30th that it posted consolidated sales of 1.5223 trillion won and operating profit of 120.2 billion won in the third quarter of 2025. Sales rose 5.8% from a year earlier (1.4384 trillion won), but operating profit fell 15.8% from a year earlier (142.8 billion won).
LG CNS said growth centered on artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud drove the expansion in sales. Cumulative sales in AI and cloud rose 14.7% on-year to 2.4692 trillion won.
In AI, the company expanded its foothold by winning projects from major institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Korean National Police Agency, the Korea meteorological Administration, Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC), and Korea Ocean Business Corporation (KOBC), focusing on financial and public AX businesses. LG CNS is providing customized services based on the large language model (LLM) EXAONE (LG AI Research) and a jointly developed model with Cohere.
In cloud, it strengthened global business, including securing the Indonesia AI data center project and collaborating on hyperscale data centers with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group and Korea Investment Real Asset Management. It also successfully completed the Korean Air application modernization (AM) project, demonstrating large-scale cloud migration capabilities.
LG CNS plans to diversify its growth engines through future new businesses such as agentic artificial intelligence (AI) and physical artificial intelligence (AI), while also focusing on expanding its global data center and smart engineering businesses.
