HN Cloud said on the 29th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with TmaxSoft to expand the use of domestic software in Korea's public cloud market and digital transformation (DX).
The signing ceremony was held on the 28th at the HN Cloud headquarters Play Museum and was attended by Kim Dong-hoon, HN Cloud CEO, and Lee Hyung-yong, TmaxSoft CEO.
TmaxSoft is an enterprise software specialist that owns core DX solutions such as application servers optimized for cloud environments, business frameworks, interface platforms, and mainframe modernization services. It supports digital innovation for public, financial, and corporate clients in Korea and abroad, and recently released a vision for "AI framework development" in line with the era of artificial intelligence (AI).
Through this agreement, the two companies will form a joint consultative body and actively adopt TmaxSoft solutions in HN Cloud's public cloud business. TmaxSoft will also provide technologies and products optimized for the HN Cloud environment to expand mutual synergy, and they plan to pursue joint marketing and project bids across all industries, including public, finance, and corporations.
The two companies will also carry out mainframe modernization projects together in the Japanese market. Mainframe modernization is a method of digital transformation that converts long-used large-scale computing systems into cloud-based open environments to increase efficiency and flexibility.
HN Cloud plans to combine its infrastructure competitiveness with TmaxSoft's technological capabilities to implement an open system environment that is not locked into specific technologies, without changing existing data. The goal is to strengthen interoperability among various systems and platforms and improve customers' cloud migration efficiency.
Lee Hyung-yong, CEO of TmaxSoft, said, "With the combined technological strengths and experience of the two companies, we expect meaningful DX results not only in Korea but also in global markets," and added, "This will be a practical collaboration that enhances customers' business value."
