LG Electronics said on the 28th it will unveil a gigantic chandelier made from the world's first wireless, transparent TV, the LG Signature OLED T, at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
LG Electronics will take part in the K-Tech Showcase, held for four days from the 28th to the 31st, at an outdoor special pavilion (air dome) of about 1,652 square meters (500 pyeong) set up at Gyeongju Expo Grand Park in North Gyeongsang Province.
The event is an official side event of the APEC CEO Summit 2025, which will draw world leaders and CEOs of global corporations in large numbers, and will showcase Korea's digital leadership and future technology capabilities.
At the exhibition, LG Electronics arranged 28 units of 77-inch Signature OLED T in a circle around a long, downward-hanging light to create a gigantic chandelier. Visitors can view the screen from any direction in 360 degrees.
The Signature OLED T moves in sync with the video, repeatedly opening and closing. When fully open, the distinctive slim side profile of OLED is highlighted through the light.
LG Signature OLED T is a product that applies all of today's top TV technologies, including OLED picture quality supporting 4K resolution in a 77-inch size, a transparent screen, and wireless audio-visual (AV) transmission and reception.
In addition, LG Electronics set up a booth in the second-floor lobby of Gyeongju Arts Center, where the APEC CEO Summit is being held, to introduce AI CoreTech, which applies artificial intelligence (AI) to core component technologies accumulated over decades, such as motors and compressors.
