T Map Mobility said on the 24th that it will provide traffic guidance services tailored to the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit to be held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province.
The period for APEC-only traffic information runs for six days from Oct. 27 to Nov. 1. Through T Map, the main services provided in the Gyeongju area during APEC are: ▲ advance notices of congested road sections ▲ real-time detour routes ▲ guidance to parking lots such as the Bomun Tourist Complex.
Advance notices on vehicle controls and road congestion are provided via pop-up. In particular, for major controlled sections in downtown Gyeongju, information was reflected in advance to improve the accuracy of route guidance. Public transit information such as detour routes for Gyeongju city buses is provided through the T Map main screen banner and notices. Around major event venues such as the Bomun Tourist Complex, official parking lot names and access control information are precisely reflected to minimize user confusion.
Meanwhile, on T Map, users can check tourism courses such as Gyeongju's signature attractions and nearby restaurants through the place recommendation service Eodigal-kka and the driving data-based themed travel and outing course recommendation service T Map Theme Course.
