Samsung Electronics said on the 23rd that it will offer a "Samsung Notebook free checkup" for Samsung notebook users at 117 Samsung Stores nationwide from today through Nov. 22.
The campaign is being held to help Samsung Electronics notebook users with device checkups and with upgrading to the "Windows 11" operating system following the end of support for the "Windows 10" operating system, including a security update on the 14th.
During the period, customers who visit a Samsung Store can check whether their current notebook is eligible for a "Windows 11" upgrade through sales consultants and PC specialist engineers. They can also receive a structured, free checkup service from a PC specialist engineer, including checks for abnormalities in memory and storage of their notebook in use and confirmation of battery performance.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is also running a "Trade-in bonus" promotion. If a customer who received a checkup buys a new Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 or Galaxy Book5 Pro product at a Samsung Store, the company will provide a Naver Pay 50,000-point credit and a 30% discount coupon for mobile product accessories such as smart keyboards and earphones. Customers who purchase on the "AI Subscription Club" "AI All-in-One 2.0" plan will also receive an additional Logitech Bluetooth mouse worth 50,000 won. The same benefits apply to customers who purchase on Samsung.com and pick up the product at a Samsung Store.
Details about the "Samsung Notebook free checkup" campaign can be found on Samsung.com and at Samsung Stores.
Jung Ho-jin, vice president in charge of Korea at Samsung Electronics, said, "We are conducting checkups so that all consumers who use Galaxy notebooks can use their products with confidence," and added, "We will continue to provide products and services that put consumer satisfaction first."
