LG Uplus said on the 21st that it has officially launched a promotional internet plan, initially aimed at newlyweds, for all customers. A longer contract term is the key feature.
According to LG Uplus, the "Nugget Light" plan extends the maximum contract term from up to three years to up to five years, offering a discount of up to 6,600 won on the monthly fee. It can also be bundled with IPTV and fixed-mobile services.
This plan was a promotional plan that LG Uplus sold to newlyweds in March. LG Uplus said, "As word spread about the strong benefits, even customers who were not eligible inquired with the call center," and added, "Reflecting customer requests, we have officially launched it for all customers, not just newlyweds, with the benefits intact."
The "Nugget Light" monthly fees by product, with a five-year contract and IPTV bundle, are as follows: ▲ 100M plan 23,100 won (4,400 won cheaper per month than before) ▲ 500M plan 27,500 won (6,600 won cheaper per month than before) ▲ 1G plan 33,000 won (6,600 won cheaper per month than before).
When it was previously sold, "Nugget Light" could only be subscribed to on the LG Uplus official online store, Uplus.com, but it can now also be subscribed to through the LG Uplus customer center (101).
