Samsung Electronics said on the 21st that it will showcase products and technologies with artificial intelligence (AI) applied across living, education, and business at KES 2025 (Korea Electronics Show), which runs for four days from the 21st to the 24th at COEX in Seoul.
Samsung Electronics said it prepared an exhibition space themed around real-life environments such as homes, classrooms, and stores, and implemented optimized AI solutions for each space using the company's latest AI products and technologies in mobile, display, and home appliances. In particular, a media facade using a large LED has been set up at the entrance of the exhibition hall, and a display-focused exhibition area will be arranged.
Visitors to the Samsung Electronics booth can experience firsthand the picture quality, color reproduction, and contrast expression of the next-generation display Micro RGB TV. They can also try the Vision AI Companion, which is built into the TV to deliver personalized AI experiences. Vision AI Companion provides appropriate answers to a variety of questions, including information about TV content, through conversations with users. It also comes with Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity to enable AI services.
The Moving Style mobile screen will also be on display. Moving Style offers 202 customized selections with various options such as display type, screen size, resolution, product color, and stand type according to the user's tastes and lifestyle.
Visitors can experience an AI Home centered on SmartThings in an exhibition space themed around a house, including the living room, kitchen, and bedroom.
In the "living room," visitors can see SmartThings automation routines that recognize the user and automatically operate AI appliances such as air conditioners and robot vacuum cleaners to provide an optimal environment. They can also try Family Care and Pet Care features that check in on the status and activities of family members and pets even when no one is home.
In the "kitchen," visitors can see the AI Vision Inside feature built into the refrigerator. AI Vision Inside not only manages ingredients in the refrigerator but also recommends customized recipes.
Visitors can also try features here that efficiently manage household energy based on AI. Through the SmartThings app on appliances with screens or on mobile devices, they can monitor real-time energy usage of connected devices and get an at-a-glance view of energy-saving effects for major appliances such as TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners.
In the "bedroom" area, visitors can see how various electronics and appliances connected to SmartThings—such as curtains, lighting, and air purifiers—are controlled in unison to create an optimal sleep environment tailored to the user's sleep and wake states.
Visitors can test the camera performance of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 in the Galaxy AI Class, a space set up for learning. They can also experience various Galaxy AI features, including generative edit and Gemini Live.
