NCSOFT subsidiary NC QA said on the 20th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies to nurture talent specialized in digital content.

Based on expertise in quality assurance (QA), the two institutions plan to support strengthening the capabilities of undergraduates at the College of Convergence at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and to build a cooperative system by jointly developing curricula with the faculty.

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies established the Culture & Technology College of Convergence for the 2024 academic year and, under it, launched the Department of Digital Content, operating an education program that integrates storytelling, digital technology, and content business capabilities. The department is cultivating convergent content talent through practice-centered courses such as visual design, artificial intelligence (AI) content, XR production, and UI/UX.

Kim Jin-seop, head of NC QA, said, "We have run our in-house training program 'QA PLUS' for more than 20 years, building experience in quality verification and talent development," and added, "Through this agreement, we will cultivate professionals with high capabilities in the digital content field."

Lim Dae-geun, a professor at the Culture & Technology College of Convergence at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, said, "With the growth of the K-content industry, the importance of professionals in digital content is increasing," and noted, "Through this agreement, we will lay the groundwork for students to strengthen their practical competitiveness and continue to grow."
