Roblox said on the 17th that it officially launched on the Samsung Galaxy Store and on the portable gaming PCs ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X.
With this launch on the Samsung Galaxy Store and the Xbox Ally platforms, users can play Roblox across all environments—smartphones, tablets, consoles, PCs, and handhelds—without restrictions. In particular, Samsung Galaxy users can now access Roblox more quickly and easily through Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets. Roblox was also released for devices such as Meta Quest and PlayStation in 2023.
In addition, on ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X, optimized game execution is now possible through a native app. Users can enjoy a smooth, handheld-optimized gameplay experience with support for gamepads and touch controls.
According to Roblox's own survey, users who enjoy Roblox on multiple devices record average expenditure 2.5 times higher and 20% longer playtime than single-device users. Through a multi-platform strategy, Roblox plans to expand the user experience while supporting revenue growth in the creator ecosystem, aiming to achieve one of Roblox's key goals, a "10% share of the gaming market."
To commemorate this platform expansion, users who purchase Robux, Roblox's in-game currency, via computer, web, or Roblox gift cards will receive up to 25% additional Robux. This benefit also applies to users who purchase Robux through the Samsung Galaxy Store and the Microsoft Store.
