U.S. software company Salesforce said on the 14th (local time) that it will expand its collaboration with OpenAI and launch a new corporate AI service.
Salesforce announced that day that it would expand its strategic partnership with OpenAI to provide next-generation work services based on its new corporate AI platform, "Agentforce 360," and OpenAI's advanced AI models.
Accordingly, corporations that use Salesforce's services will be able to access the "Agentforce 360" platform within OpenAI's ChatGPT. The company said that by entering questions or requests into ChatGPT, users can easily perform various tasks such as retrieving sales records, reviewing conversations with customers, and visualizing data in charts.
The company also said it integrated Salesforce's widely used workplace collaboration tool "Slack" with ChatGPT to support knowledge and information searches, drafting content, and summarizing complex conversations, thereby boosting work efficiency within corporations.
Sam Altman, OpenAI chief executive officer (CEO), said, "The partnership with Salesforce is to make the tools people use every day work together better so that work feels more natural and consolidated," adding, "This is an important step forward in how AI improves everyday workflows."
In addition, at its annual conference "Dreamforce 2025" held in San Francisco that day, Salesforce declared the opening of the "agentic enterprise" era to enhance work capabilities in the AI age and announced the official launch of its next-generation platform "Agentforce 360." "Agentforce 360" is a new corporate AI platform that further extends Salesforce's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Salesforce said that AI agents have now established themselves as new work partners that go beyond responding to corporations' customers to enhancing employees' capabilities, streamlining operations, and collaborating with other agents.
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said, "We are now moving into the era of the agentic enterprise, where AI expands human potential like never before," adding, "Agentforce 360 consolidates people, agents, and data into a single trusted platform to help every employee and corporation achieve results once thought impossible."
