Wemade said on the 15th it will launch the global version of the blockbuster massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Legend of YMIR in 170 countries (excluding Korea and China) on Oct. 28.
Legend of YMIR is an MMORPG that tells the story of warriors who fight to restore fate and order in a world plunged into chaos after the fall of the gods. It features graphics based on Unreal Engine 5, action-focused combat, and cinematic storytelling, as well as large-scale server battles, PvP (player-versus-player), the global tournament YMIR CUP, and the Partners Server where users directly build the world.
The global version provides tangible value to users through a Play & Earn system. It applies tokenomics centered on the key currency gWEMIX, and users can exchange the gWEMIX obtained through in-game content 1:1 for WEMIX Coin.
Wemade will offer pre-downloads starting Oct. 26 via Google Play, Apple App Store, and PC platforms, and is currently taking pre-registrations on the official website and on the blockchain gaming platform WEMIX PLAY.
