Samsung Electronics will unveil the extended reality (XR) headset "Project Infinite" at 11 a.m. on the 22nd.
Samsung Electronics on the 15th released the Galaxy Unpacked invitation for Project Infinite. The unveiling event will be held online under the slogan "A new era of multimodal AI, a wider world opens."
The invitation shows selecting an image of New York's Brooklyn Bridge in a virtual reality (VR) video, jumping to New York, and looking around various places on a map. The video ends with the line "Worlds Wide Open," meaning "the world expands."
Project Infinite, which Samsung Electronics is launching in partnership with Google and Qualcomm, is an XR device in a head-mounted display (HMD) form factor. Infinite is expected to be priced at around 2 million won, roughly half the cost of rival Apple Vision Pro.
