Out of 647 administrative information systems paralyzed by the fire at the Daejeon National Information Resources Service (NIRS), the number of restored systems has increased to 134. As of the morning, the count rose by two from 132, bringing the recovery rate to 20.7%, a slight uptick.
According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters on the 5th, as of 6 p.m. that day, two more systems were restored, including the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's "Integrated Open Management System website" and the "Government Complex Management Headquarters main website."
The newly restored systems provide a data visualization service and key guidance functions for the Government Complex Management Headquarters, respectively.
After a fire at the NIRS on the 26th of last month paralyzed government systems, the government has been making all-out efforts to restore them. By ministry, the number of restored administrative networks is highest at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety with 34, followed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare (24), the Ministry of Science and ICT (20), the National Data Agency (19), and the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment (4).
